"We are so glad me made the decision to stay at the Inn at Woohaven to celebrate our birthdays. The place is so nice and both Jeremy and Mark made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious with nice touches, Keuring, Bottle of Sherry, comfy beds, a new shower with lots of hot water and no street noise. Breakfast was really nice as you got to start with home made pastries and then were offered a menu of several items to choose...all custom made. We want to thank Jeremy and Mark for the cake for Joyce for her birthday and the birthday wishes for both of us. It was nice also as we checked in, mentioned we drank decaf. At breakfast next morning there was a pot for us. They listen. Jeremy makes a mean old fashioned as well. Location is near tons of restaurants and shopping. About a 15 minute drive to. downtown. "This is an exceptionally fine B & B without a crazy "over the top" price. Everything was well-done from the initial greeting to the breakfast. We will definitely stay here when we visit Louisville again. We stayed in the carriage house behind the big house (Hearth Room) because we wanted to be on a first floor level. It was perfect with our car parked right outside of our room. (B & B's normally have stairs, sometimes steep ones, and are without elevators, so we are grateful for 1st floor options like this.) We had a gas fireplace with two comfy chairs in front of it. It was roomy, yet cozy, and well-appointed with many amenities. The breakfast really stood out from typical B & B's.
